Back in 2016(ish) I found myself in need a of a run-about when a few things came to ahead, namely the car before it was shunted in a hit and run, and was no longer really safe to repair amongst a whole raft of other issues. A friend came to the rescue, a deal was done and I landed a cracking little vehicle for not much money at all – a little battle worn, but reliable 2002 Yaris with 66k on the clock.
Over the years this car has never let me down and is starting to show signs of age and if things aren’t done soon (panel work, a bit of welding here and there) some basic maintenance – I feel will turn into a clunker of sorts.
